Exciting News!

Fifth graders can continue writing their longer pieces of writing using Google Docs! They do not have email privileges, but they will be able to continue working on longer writing assignments at home. If you get a chance have them share their narrative writing with you!

ELA - Read for 1/2 hour; Third spelling page - Many students have at least two paragraphs of their narrative done so this does not apply to everyone. If you do not have at least two paragraphs of your narrative you should be working it.

5W - Finish nonfiction summary from the Scholastic News - Emerald Ash Borer
Students in grade 5S did not get as much time so they will work on starting the summary tomorrow. We used a sum-it up template to pick out the main ideas which will help to write the summary.
