Field Trip to UMO February 24

On Wednesday, February 24, sixth graders will be going to the University of Maine to see a play called, "Are You Ready, My Sister?"  This play tells the exciting story of Harriet Tubman, great "conductor" on the Underground Railroad, and the Quaker women who helped her bring 300 slaves to freedom.

We will be leaving the school around 9:00 a.m. and return around 1:30 p.m. We will be eating in the commons, and students may bring a bag lunch or purchase lunch there.  It should be an incredible experience!
