October 3

On Friday 5th and 6th graders went to Acadia National Park, where they learned a great deal about bird migration and why the biologists put bands on them. Students saw the mist nets, which are used to capture the birds, and how the birds get weighed. They even saw Mars, but you will have to ask your child about that sighting. We even had lunch on top of Cadillac Mountain.

Monday's Homework
ELA - Students need to study two words from their word list

If the students have the internet they need to find at least 10 facts about Maine!
We will be writing our post cards this week! How exciting!

Read for at least 1/2 hour and write down the pages you have read.
