October 4

Spelling: Unit 4 study the words for a spelling quiz on Friday

Math: I went through each student's math book, to check on progress and many students have pages to work on.   I put a sticky on the front of each math book to let students know what pages to work on.

Reading: Students will be sharing a favorite poem tomorrow. They were supposed to bring home the book the poem was in to practice reading it outloud.  We have been discussing a lot about poetry, and students should be using the punctuation to help them with expression.  Also how the stanzas are structured may also help them, especially if it is a concrete poem.
