Pi Day
NATIONAL PI DAY
According to MEA, "National Pi Day celebrates Pi, a mathematical concept and a number that never ends...yet. Often, we round it off to 3.14. But this year is 3.14.15, is the only time this century that the first 5 digits of Pi are in the date."
Pi Day is celebrated on March 14, 2015 around the world. Pi (Greek letter π) is the symbol used in mathematics to represent a constant the ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter which is approximately 3.14159.
