Writing - Continue writing your introduction for your nonfiction writing- Remember the whole piece is about the Westward Expansion - Give background information and let the reader know what else you will be writing about.  

Reading: Keep working on independent reading goal - Conferences on Friday!

Read over material you want to cover for your information writing - (Lewis & Clark, Social Studies book 216 - 221, and links on the blog)

5S: Science:  We did not have enough time for the quiz so make sure you study the Mitosis worksheet or your slide show
